I am the Health & Environment digital journalist at AnnArbor.com. At this Web news company, I will be covering recent research, consumer wellness and exploring the links between health and the environment.
I am a multimedia journalist with a love for storytelling with both video production and the printed word. I love learning from people I meet.
I love being a reporter.
Share your thoughts about how the newsroom of the future should be different . (And if you do, please post a copy of your answer in the forums).
The newsroom of the future is a place that has no cubicles and has a purposely created environment for creativity. Reporters work to create more strategic brands and interact with the community in online and offline community forums and actively promote interconnectivity. News Web sites offer a local utility of information to readers that's never been created before to make news Web sites a MUST SEE stop. Reporters must be comfortable speaking intelligently in front of video cameras and large crowds. Newsrooms archive and provide information more specifically based on individual geography.
